CAMP AZDA: 2019

6/9/2019

We spent a week up in Prescott Arizona at Friendly Pines Camp where the ADA held a week long camp for specifically type one diabetics. We got to learn how others have handled living with diabetes and their tips and tricks of what they do to control their numbers. Through various activities and healthy food habits, our blood sugars dramatically improved and staged in range a majority of the time. Not only did we have a blast, but this camp has encouraged us both to keep maintaining our sugars so we can keep coming back to see all our fellow diabetics again!
